Parent Coach: Behavior Management Tools for Parents/Educators. This 60 minute crash-course 1:1 virtual consultation will cover these three topics and leave you with TANGIBLE tools for your parenting behavior management arsenal: ABC Behavior Investigation, Designing Visual Schedules, and Using Effective Token Economy Systems. Topic 1- (20 min) ABC Behavior Investigation: Let's get down to the root of the problem. Every behavior is a form of communication, so let's investigate by creating a personalized ABC chart of your child's challenging behaviors so you can investigate the cause and brainstorm solutions. Topic 2- (20 min) Visual Schedules: One reason all children (disability or not) *THRIVE* off of visual schedules, is because us parents also thrive off of schedules. It sets the expectations for both us and our children. Purchasing visual schedules online is like buying a fish. However, I am going to teach you HOW to fish and create your own materials personalized to what your child needs. We will develop your first personalized visual schedule or task analysis visual for your child in just 30 minutes! Topic 3- (20min) Token Economy System: "Star charts" are just one example of a token economy system. Let's investigate what really motivates your child and create a token economy system personalized for their attention and abilities. We will develop your child's first effective and adaptable token economy system. Trust me, you will LOVE creating these engaging visuals, and your children will love it also. These strategies are just three of MANY tools I use every day, and I am excited to share them with you.
