Meet Alisyn Kandybowicz Owner &

M.S. CCC-SLP

Alisyn Kandybowicz is a bilingual (Spanish/English) CCC-Speech Language Pathologist and commissioned Kentucky Colonel from Phoenix, Arizona. She has a passion for language, community and social horticulture and is a fierce advocate for inclusive outdoor spaces. She graduated from Arizona State University with a dual major in Linguistics and Spanish Literature and a minor in Public Relations & Strategic Communications in 2010. In 2015, she received a third B.A. from Northern Arizona University in Speech Language Sciences & Technology (w/ SLPA certificate). She worked as a speech language pathology assistant in the school, home health, and outpatient settings for 7 years before she went back to school and received her Master's in Science in Speech Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University. (Check out her LinkedIn for more details: HERE.) Her favorite settings to work in are home health and telepractice because she loves the connections and collaboration she is able to make with her clients' families and believes the most progress is made when the parents/caregivers are essential members of the therapy team.

She is a U.S. Army military spouse and a mom of three. She hopes that her virtual services will provide accessible speech therapy services to clients who may have limited access: Especially military families who are constantly uprooting from their therapy support systems.

She sees so much value in balancing screen time with green time and advocates for using outdoor nature play as an incredible setting for enriching language and development. Fun fact: She also completed KY master gardener coursework through Hardin County Cooperative Extension Service and helped to build a flourishing community garden for the military community at Fort Knox, KY.
